I have a passion for helping people live a more effective and efficient lifestyle by utilizing technology. Within the school system, I put a strong emphasis on using technology to get students engaged in genuine learning, rather than just engaged in technology as a gaming platform. As a computer tutor, I enjoy teaching digital immigrants how technology can work for anyone.

I've officially worked in educational technology since 2006, but my volunteer experience dates back to my years as a high school student and before. In that time, I've coordinated the technology for a brand-new, technology-rich school; taught technology classes to students; conducted workshops for educators through Leon County Schools, educational technology companies, and the Florida Educational Technology Conference; and supported teachers from elementary to high school. I sometimes apply my experience in the schools to one-on-one computer training for digital immigrants.
