WELCOME TO KLES!
Our mission is to provide students with an optimal learning environment and to create and develop life-long learners. It is our goal that this website will be a useful, user-friendly resource tool for our parents, students, faculty and staff. The Killearn Lakes website should be the first place you go for school-related information, and it should answer most questions you have about the school.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Yearbook Photos Needed - The yearbook staff is now accepting photo submissions for consideration in this year’s yearbook. It is our sincerest wish to extend to everyone the opportunity to submit photos for the yearbook. We try very diligently to get as great a variety of children into the yearbook as possible but our main goal is showcasing the wonderful things that go on at KLES. Please note the submission guidelines. If you have any questions or problems please do not hesitate to contact either of us. We are volunteers, so please be patient.
- Parent Guidelines for School Attendance with Illness - Please remember the school clinic is managed by non-nursing staff. The school health assistant is not a nurse and has been trained regarding the guidelines for school attendance. Please read the guidelines when determining if your child should attend school or stay home.
- Greener Community - KLES is joining Leon County in an effort to make our community 'greener.' Check these links for more information.
- Just Read Florida – this program is a statewide reading initiative for students and parents. Follow the link for activities you can do at home.
